Cappuccino

I see a Oak tree by my window
window sealed with glass and metal curtains
I brew a cappuccino and put it on furniture
to set it’s smell rise, like roses in spring
and Casa Blanca Lilly at night

Two teaspoons of sugar and a slice of cream
mixed and stirred till it smells milky and moist
I sip and ah it chills my spine
my arm hairs rise, hit with a caffeine high

Dopamine spews and It’s Christmas inside
sip after sip the high rises of caffeine and sucrose
ballet my body from places pit to sky
coffee, the key to my life
