A traveler’s dilemma

Stacked husks, blades of green
run with me, along the lines
conductors live and charged
up and down the slope
slide and rise

Crisscross rods, rusted pins of steel
pebbles, laid on earth
wooden slabs in between
station echo’s, calls me

Do, I disembark to lay my head
In the roses of it’s bed
or swing my bag on my back
stiff my laces
and run like I raced
with no weights to shoulder
no heart’s to break
